Corman: from its origins to the present day

CORMAN, founded in 1947 in Milan, bears the imprint of its founder in its very name: Corrado Mantovani.
Ours is the success story of an Italian family business, now run by the second generation.

From the very beginning, our strong drive towards innovation which enabled us to create high quality products has been the distinctive feature that made us stand out on the market. Thanks to this vision, a lot of our research has resulted in the attainment of patents for unique and innovative technological and industrial processes.

Always mindful of the environment, we have adopted an industrial process that does not use chemical or dangerous agents and aims at maximum reduction of energy consumption and minimum waste production.

From Italy to the world

Today, thanks to the commitment and skills of all our company teams, we are among the leaders in the pharmacy market in Italy and in the personal care market worldwide in terms of turnover.

Since 2000 we have been operating efficiently and successfully in the field of specialised logistics through LOGICOR.

Since 2008, our US subsidiary for the control of the American market has been operating in New York. In addition, we have sales subsidiaries in Europe, Amsterdam and China.

The medication device range is established, and still today it is a leading brand in the Italian pharmacies.

BIBO

The new line of products for children is launched.

1962

First offices and first productions site

Relocation of the offices to Lacchiarella, (MI) and construction of the first production site.

Lady Presteril

The first line of 100% cotton sanitary pads is launched.

1995

Inco - Seamless

The light inco - seamless system is patented and production begins in cooperation with Hartmann.

1998

Omron Healthcare

Distribution of Omron's line of measuring devices begins.

2000

Logicor

Reorganisation of specialised logistics services with the foundation of LOGICOR

2008

Organyc

The line of cotton sanitary pads gets a makeover, becomes certified organic and uses biodegradable and compostable biopolymers instead of plastic.
